Grocery Outlet celebrated its grand opening on June 13 and Target followed with its grand opening on July 17. These new additions mark a pivotal moment for our city, addressing long-standing concerns about the lack of nearby grocery and household goods options.

For a long time, residents have expressed their desire for a local grocery store, often having to travel to neighboring communities for their shopping needs. With the opening of Grocery Outlet and Target, Lomita residents now have convenient access to a wide range of groceries and household essentials right in their neighborhood.

The introduction of these stores is not just about convenience; it signifies a broader effort towards supporting economic development within our community. The presence of Grocery Outlet and Target is expected to boost local employment, stimulate economic activity and enhance the overall quality of life in Lomita.
