Welcome to the Parks and Recreation webpage! The mission of the City of Lomita is to provide a healthy, safe and friendly small-town community where everyone can successfully live, work and play.

Our division is responsible for overseeing recreational programs and activities for all ages, including our famous Lomita Park youth and adults sports, Senior programs, the Lomita Railroad Museum and a variety of special events throughout the year, including Founders Day, the Mayor’s Golf Tournament, the Cornhole Tournament, Movies Under the Stars, Concerts in the Park, the Halloween Carnival and the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. We encourage you to sign up for one of our many recreation programs or attend one of our future City events. Keep up with the City and current events by subscribing to the City E-Newsletter.

We are always looking to provide more class offerings for our community. For more information, contact the team at (310) 326-0140. Remember, Parks Make Life Better!
