The Housing Authority of Lomita consists of seven members, the five members of the City Council and 2 appointed tenant commissioners from Lomita Manor. The City Manager’s Department serves as staff to the Authority and prepares staff reports and analysis regarding housing-related issues. The Housing Authority of Lomita also administers federally funded housing programs with the assistance of the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA).
