The City of Lomita is excited to unveil its latest logo, marking a bold step forward in the City’s future. Debuting just after Lomita’s 60th anniversary, the refreshed look pays tribute to the City’s relaxed Southbay roots, while signaling a vibrant, forward-thinking future.
“This reimagined logo is a symbol of where we’re going, inspired by where we’ve been,” said Lomita Mayor Mark Waronek. “The signature look with the sunset and palm tree embraces Lomita’s identity, and reflects the spirit and creativity that continue to shape our unique and proud community.”
Guided by the theme, “The Next Chapter Begins,” the branding efforts reflect Lomita’s continued growth, strong community pride and commitment to progress. More than just a visual update, the new logo represents a renewed vision for how Lomita is represented to residents, businesses and visitors alike.
To celebrate the launch, the City is also offering a line of Lomita-branded merchandise now available at City Hall and on the City’s website. From t-shirts and hats to mugs and tote bags, residents can show off their Lomita pride in style.
The new logo will be rolled out City promotional and marketing materials, digital platforms and communication materials in the coming months as Lomita continues to evolve and invest in the future.
