Holiday trees are 100% recyclable. Athens Services will be collecting holiday trees on your normal trash collection day between December 26 – January 12.

To ensure your tree is properly collected, remove all stands and ornaments and place it next to your regular trash container. Trees over six feet must be cut in half. If you miss the date of recycling, cut up your tree and place it in your green yard waste container.
