The City of Lomita is pleased to announce the Façade Improvement and Job Creation programs. The Job Creation program awards up to $10,000 for the creation of a new job. The Façade Improvement program awards up to $25,000 for façade improvements. Both programs are funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. Eligible applicants are owners of restaurants, breweries, bars, bakeries, coffee shops, salons, barbershops, gyms, fitness studios, child day care centers, non-profits, and general retail businesses that are physically located within the City of Lomita.
All façade improvement projects on Pacific Coast Highway must adhere to the PCH Design Guidelines.
All façade improvement projects located everywhere else in the City must adhere to the Downtown Commercial District’s Design Guidelines.
On March 8th, the Lomita Chamber held a webinar explaining these city programs and the South Bay Workforce Investment Board also presented information on its programs and services. Please visit the Lomita Chamber’s website to watch the recording. https://www.lomitachamber.org/
Note: A business can receive assistance from only one program (Job Creation or Façade Improvement).
