In a dedicated effort to enhance the beauty and cleanliness of Lomita, the City’s Public Works Department has been working hard to remove graffiti across the City. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to improving the community’s appearance and ensuring that Lomita remains a welcoming and vibrant place to live and visit.
Recently, the Public Works team has successfully removed graffiti from various locations, including mailboxes and newsstands across the city.
As a reminder, the City has introduced a new, streamlined process for graffiti removal. Property owners can now submit the “Permissive Removal Form,” which allows the City to remove graffiti from private property within 48 hours for a fee.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to be vigilant and report any instances of graffiti. If you notice graffiti anywhere in Lomita, please contact the Code Enforcement Department at 310-325-7110 x156 or via email at Code@LomitaCity.com. Together, we can keep Lomita looking its best.
